I went to school with Natalie, so was really pleased when she aksed me to capture her and Elias’ special day. I was also videographer at her bridesmaid, Allison’s, wedding a few years ago, so it quite the reunion during morning preperations!
I was also pleased to hear that the couple had chosen one of Essex’s most beautiful, and historical, venues: Leez Priory, with its stunning tower. The fact they choose to have their whole day at the venue also gave me plenty of time to capture lots of shots of the venue.
November can be a tricky month to film in, with a lot of grey weather and rain, but their day couldn’t have been further from this with clear blue skies.
Elias’ father gave a lovely reading, in Spanish, during the ceremony, which I knew would be perfect for their highlights film, as well as the truly heartfelt words Elias had for his new wife. The string quartet also gave a great performance which I decided to open their film with.
It’s also always great when the guests get straight on the dance floor in the evening, allowing me a chance to finish their film with a great bit of dancing.
