Our Process
Planning
Whether you are having an intimate wedding/party/elopement and just need a single videographer or you are having a multi-day extravaganza and need extra videographers, a drone operator, a video and photo team etc, Handcraft Pictures has an option to suit your needs.
As a starting point the below pricing includes one videographer (either Toby or Ayla) filming for one day and always includes a Teaser Film and a Feature Film, but extra coverage, films and personnel can be added during the booking process.
Filmmaking
I pride myself on producing stylish and cinematic films with a minimal footprint on your day. The cameras me and the team use are small, like those of a photographer, and the techniques we use to film are unobtrusive - this way of working allows us to capture the sort of naturalistic and intimate moments I like to include in all of my films.
We never leave your event until we have everything we need to produce a beautiful film.
Editing
I believe editing is the most important part of the filmmaking process and my storytelling style is what attracts couples to my work so, unlike some other companies, none of my editing is outsourced to a third party, making sure all of my films live up to the high standard Handcraft Pictures is known for.
I (Toby) edit every single film, making sure your story is told in a unique and cinematic way.
